R/A slow bowler. Bigheaded bowler Charlie surprisingly won the bowling averages in 2001. With his gritty competitive style Charlie is able to compensate for his distinct lack of pace by bowling consistent line and length which proved extremely effective in the Sunday team. Charlie, a relative newcomer to HCC, caused serious problems for the HCC Committee when the new club caps proved to be inadequate in size for his huge temple.
