Specialist mid off/on fielder. Loud-mouthed Middlesborough fan, Del won the fielder of the year award in 2001 with a pair of exceptionally safe hands. A new comer to HCC, Del fought his way into the Saturday team where he stayed for most of 2001. With his hard hitting lower order style Del initially scored vital runs before getting into the habit of jumping out of the way of any straight delivery. A gambling addict, Del will bet on anything that moves (presumably not his feet whilst batting).   Best Moment – Winning the HCC fielder of the year in 2001. As you can see, Del likes to eat his beer!
