R/H Bat Sadly missing from the Hanslope squad for most of 2001 James has "held this club together" for many seasons. James spares no mercy as he clouts average bowlers all round the ground, although if the pitch is anything below test standard then James tends to struggle. Hopefully now over his recent spate of injuries including a Hernia, a Dislocated leg, Slight Cold and Grazed Knee, James again could become an integral part of the Saturday team and his excellent fielding would be a valuable addition. Opponents should make sure they do not die of laughing at his unorthodox bowling action and ridiculous pair of Bins, which he acquired from snooker's Dennis Taylor.   Best Moment – An impressive ton against Old Bradwell CC.
