R/H Bat – Medium pace bowler. Club Secretary Steve is one of the only players in the current squad to have won both the bowling and batting averages. An ever present in the team for ten years, Steve has filled his boots over the past two seasons with a series of excellent batting displays usually against 14-year-old kids on a Sunday. His stuttery bowling action has surprisingly claimed a number of wickets (and ruined a number of pitches) Steve's main claim to fame is his incredible fielding displays which make any leather cricket ball appear to be a wet bar of soap. Steve is also known for his ability to dominate any bowling attack from the off and once scored an amazing 24 runs – off just 90 overs. Best Moment - Maiden fifty against Syresham CC in 2000.
